Hi lovely reader, Here they are, the pictures you were waiting for, right? We are married for seven weeks now and we’ve enjoyed every second. Last week we’ve received our wedding pics. Our photographer Elvera came by with a box full of joy and of course with THE usb stick :). Jacco wasn’t at home, but i couldn’t resist to watch the photo’s. I was absolutely amazed and speechless. We’ve received around 340 pictures and i can say i couldn’t choose which i would publish at my blog. So here is a recap. I know i’m a bit subjective, but is it cocky to say the pictures are phenomenal!! Well, let me start about our outfits.. Jacco was wearing a Cleofe Finati by Archetype suit (and matching cuffs). The white pearl colored shoes with a edgy pattern are from “van Bommel”. I can remember it was really hard to find white colored shoes. Hi dear readers, A new outfitpost: Ready to sparkle as a star with Zaful! While you are reading this, i’m nipping from my Margarita or something. Yeah, we are enjoying our honeymoon to the fullest! Today we are in Disneyland, Orlando Florida. Since i was a young girl i’m totally head over heels with Disney. Especially with Cinderella & other princess Disney story’s. Maybe that’s why i wore a ballgown at my wedding. I felt like a Disney princess who got married her prince. And yes he looked like a prince, but you might have seen it at my socials. It was magical, just like a fairytale! The next few weeks we are about to discover Floria even more. St. Pete beach, Bonita Bay, Miami and the Keys.. here we come! Furthermore, we’re going to visit the Bahama’s as well. just because we can ;). I’m obsessed with America, i love the relaxing and diversity of the country. Hi hi, Jaaaaa, wedding update! Dé trouwkaart is dan eindelijk de deur uit en nu mag jij het ook zien. Deze kaart hebben we zelf ontworpen en ik ben er heel tevreden over. Toch was dit echt een hele klus en heel eerlijk gezegd doe ik dat dus nooit meer! Al is het ook de verwachting dat ik dat niet meer voor mezelf hoef te doen ;). The perfect honeymoon destination

Hi dearest reader, It’s february and there is nothing more exciting than picking a destination for the summer vacay. This time it’s even more special, because it will be our honeymoon. Oh yes, THE wedding is coming closer. 5 months till the big day. Where will we drinking a cocktail this summer? It was a hard decision to choose the perfect honeymoon destination. Ofcourse we have a budget, certainly after the wedding itself. One thing was really a condition: it needs to be warm and i want to see palmtrees.   Ofcourse there are a lot of options in Europe, but as big USA lovers we’ve chosen an American state. We are going to: Florida & the Bahama’s Yay, this trip is on top of my bucketlist. I’m obsessed with the States for a long time now and i love to go once in a while. Luckily Jacco likes the USA too and is also excited about this. We can’t wait to go there, It’s going to be an epic summer.. i can feel it already!! Allright what’s the plan? Hi lovely reader, As i’ve promised i would tell you everything about the wedding preparations. This time i will tell you something about the wedding venue of our dreams we’ve chosen. We are going to get married at Residence Rhenen, some people were questioning why we should share that. Like it needs to be a big secret or something, in my opinion altough people know the place.. it certainly says nothing about our special day. It’s the personal touch that matters. I’m thinking about to do something with a hashtag, so everyone can post at their socials their pictures from their point of view. And nope i really don’t care if other people will see it. It’s maybe from a blogger perspective, but my fiancé doesn’t care either ;). The only thing that needs to be a secret is THE DRESS. I think it will surprise you all, it’s different :P. 3 things to celebrate

Hi lovely reader, This is an other post then u used to, i guess. The past few weeks a couple of things has changed in my life. Ofcourse i want to share these facts with you :). All of these things has a huge impact in my life…… 1. I have a new job. Yay, i’m so freakin’ happy with this. I wanted a new job for a while! A new location, new people and a new target group. I wasn’t really happy anymore with the work i was doing. Ofcourse i’ve had a lot of fun and the class i’m mentoring is fantastic. Altough i felt i needed to change, i want to develop myself even more. As a teacher it is a great value to switch often. My new job is in in the same city as i work now. I won’t be teaching only communication and social skills, but also Dutch, English (yay i need to improve my English) and Geography. My target group will be children between 11 and 14, so an age group below the group which im teaching now. I’m really excited about it, first i will finish my current job and after Christmas […]

The perfect proposal

Hi lovelies, Ok, honestly i don’t know where to start..now i know the whole story. We all know how this fairytale ends: i said Yes. But the process is maybe more “interesting” (in the good way). Last vacation we went to Asia. It was such an amazing continent, i’d love to go back someday. In the classic storyline you would expect he was going to proposed to me at Bali. A perfect place with beautiful scenery. Think of sunset, beaches and all other romantic getaways. Well, it was all part of the plan, his plan. But it didn’t turned out that way….. However he had everything well planned and (how far possible) scheduled, he couldn’t find the perfect moment. And that word “perfect” was just the right word that bothers him the whole “proposal process” (need to mention: i’ve said several times, IF ‘someone’ proposed to me..it had to be huge and special! so maybe i made him a bit insecure :p).
