The fabulous wedding pictures of #ourbigdej

Hi lovely reader,

Here they are,
the pictures you were waiting for, right?
We are married for seven weeks now
and we’ve enjoyed every second.

Last week we’ve received our wedding pics.
Our photographer Elvera came by with a box full of joy
and of course with THE usb stick :).
Jacco wasn’t at home,
but i couldn’t resist to watch the photo’s.
I was absolutely amazed and speechless.
We’ve received around 340 pictures and
i can say i couldn’t choose which i would
publish at my blog.
So here is a recap.
I know i’m a bit subjective,
but is it cocky to say the pictures are phenomenal!!

Well, let me start about our outfits..
Jacco was wearing a Cleofe Finati by Archetype suit (and matching cuffs).
The white pearl colored shoes with a edgy pattern are from “van Bommel”.
I can remember it was really hard to find white colored shoes.
Luckily we found the perfect pair and i guess
he can wear it also at other occasions.

I was wearing a Stella York (model: 6022) ball gown.
I tried 5 other dresses and all were very different,
but i chose this glamorous piece of art.
I wanted to feel like a bride and
i didn’t felt it when i was wearing the other ones.
I guess you can say it’s a wedding dress for sure ;).
To complete my princesse theme i wore my Christian Louboutin Dorissima drage 100mm.
The pair i bought in Paris :).
Absolutely a dream!
I know you couldn’t seen them with my poofy dress,
but the feeling that i was wearing them was magical….

The night before #ourbigdej i slept at my parents house,
Jacco was at our place but left to his parents in the early morning.

At my parents house my MUAH Suhaila arrived at 7am.
My bestie also joined us
and of course my mom and sister.
It’s such a fun part of the day because it was time for my make-up and hair..

.. and when she was finished, i could finally put on my wedding dress.

Everything was all set and i was ready to see my future husband.
What a moment it was,
i was absolutely nervous for this moment,
but it was amazing.

Our wedding pictures we shot at a vineyard in our hometown Nijkerk
and moorland Ermelo.
Although it wasn’t sunny, the temperature was really good that morning
and the pictures turned out more than beautiful.

After the wedding shoot,
our friends and family were waiting for us at my parents house.
They looked wonderful and ready for #ourbigdej.
The group was transported to Rhenen by a big American school bus :).
America, because of our honeymoon and school bus because i’m a teacher.
They arrived a bit later the Jacco and i,
because we wanted to take some pictures at our next location:
Residence Rhenen.

This picture was absolutely a bucket list moment,
acting like Cinderella who lost her shoe ;).

At 3pm it was time for the official moment.
It was a very special moment,
i think this picture says it all…

Of course we ate cake and said “cheers” with bubbles,
we we’re thankful everyone we care about was with us.

For now this is it,
i have many many more wedding content but maybe a bit too much for now.
