Loopgiveaways, how effective are those for your Insta account? A while ago i recieved several invites for a loop giveaway. For those who don’t know what this is: a giveaway organised by (Insta)bloggers. If you participate as a blogger your part of a sort of “chain reaction”. When i was young this was ‘a thing’ (Dutch: kettingbrief) on paper, i wrote a letter to someone and the other one needed to write something to someone else and so long. Now it’s a trend online where you share a box full of goodies for your (future) followers. The only thing they need to do is follow the instructions and violá they are having a chance to win this goodybag! Why is this so popular amongst bloggers right now? The first results showing you will reach more people and will gain more followers. Then again of course to get this attention, most loopgiveaways aren’t for free. As a blogger you need to pay for joining this group. It depends on what kind of goodybag it is and how many bloggers are participating. So you pay, you post and wait….that’s it. Hi dearest reader, To blog or not to blog?, that’s the question?!… in this post i’m asking myself if blogging is still my passion or is it work? A while ago i saw several blogposts about the decreasing of readers of blogs. To blog or not to blog?, that’s the question.. I’m sure a lot of bloggers won’t dare to say it.. but are we bloggers the past? And vloggers the here, now and future? It looks like it, social media has becoming super powerful maybe more powerfull than the blog itself. Numbers, numbers and numbers. Since the vacation i’ve noticed this fact as well. I’m absolutely not one of the big bloggers out there, but my blog was growing. Since a few months i’ve seen my blog numbers were decreasing. I know at summertime it usually does, but now it’s the time i should be back at my “normal status”. Honestly i don’t exactly know where it is coming from. Maybe still because of the great weather overhere. But it makes no sense because i’ve got a lot of readers abroad as well. Hi lovely reader, It’s wednesday and yes there is a post online. This time an extra post: preparing for my summer vacation with Delsey. Normally i post two times a week, because i’m too busy to post even more in a week. I love to blog and ofcourse i want to post more than i do now. But i need to find a balance between my work as a teacher and being a blogger. This is even harder nowadays, because my students also have noticed i’m a blogger. Ofcourse it’s an advantage being a blogger AND a teacher. Most of them like to have a blogging teacher, but a few don’t and it’s not always easy to cope with that. Sometimes they won’t taking me serious and trying to make fun of me, but luckily i can handle the situation by being professional and interact with them. Of course there are so many great parts of being a teacher and a blogger, like the tremendous days of vacation in a year. Being a teacher in the Netherlands isn’t that bad. Why it is soo tempting to buy followers

HI lovelies, Because my Instagram tips & tricks post was soooo popular (thanks for the love), i decided to write an article about the perks of the amount of followers: The -fake- side of Instagram. How to recognise fake accounts? and why it is soo tempting to buy followers ? Sadly also bloggers are a part of the “fake followers” group. I’ve done some research, because i’m really interested how you can be so attached to Instagram. And it’s quite impressive to see how the urge to get more followers works. We all know the accounts with “10k” followers and with a few pictures with no comments or less likes. Well, the active Instagrammer knows that there are more options to cover your real amount of followers. Their are a lot of different apps that provide you the information to get more followers. I’ve downloaded several of them (just for research ;)…) and i was surprised how many there are. But they all working eventually the same!
