Hi lovely reader, I say things how they are and hi June! I hope you will be sunny such as May was. At the moment i’m 20 weeks pregnant and she is getting more active than before. I can feel her more and more.. that’s such a special feeling. Next week we will have the ‘20 weeks ultra sound‘. How exciting! For now i just wanted to share some blogger frustrations.. I’ve seen some messages at several Facebook groups about this, but it didn’t affected me before. Till now, because it is getting really annoying. What i mean? The tons of emails of company’s/brands wo are willing to work with me, but don’t want to ‘sponsor’ a product or budget in exchange with the same value as my (blog)post. I’ve got several mails with questions if i want to review, post or share a product or link in return for a product. I know when i started blogging, i was really happy when i received a product for free. Now i’m a couple years further, it’s not fair and totally not comparable for the work a blogger needs to do. Hi dear readers, Blogbreak: offline for a month and a half. Yay i’m back again! Hihi i know i’m maybe more excited than you are, but i’m full of inspiration and energy again. It was such a hectic month, maybe even more hectic than my wedding preps a year ago. I didn’t expected to be this busy with buying, selling and (re)building a house. It felt like we needed to flip the whole house! We bought the house in October and in March we’ve received the key. We had a month to move over, so it was really stressful. My oh my i haven’t realized i have so much stuff to move over and settle my belongings. Honestly i did say goodbye to a lot of stuff and yes i also gave some clothes (+shoes) away. I will be really relieved when everything is in closets instead of boxes. What a mess, expecially my wardrobe items! Anyway sadly we didn’t made it, it was maybe a bit too much positive thinking. Dear reader, Taking another direction with my blog. Do you remember my posts about continuing blogging. Well, i finally know what i want to do next. Next step I will keep on going with blogging, but in a different way. I was thinking what i like the most about blogging and the best part is the visual side of it. I love to visualise my vivid world into pictures. My Instagram is a perfect example of what i like the most: being creative with photo’s and share the positive vibe! So what is my plan? ‘Cause i love to take pictures, edit and share them with you.. why not turning my blog in a Instagram feed!! I’ve noticed a big part of my readers doesn’t read my posts, just scanning my photo’s (just like i do most of the time). My blog doesn’t have to be a “storyteller” anymore. Hi Youtuber, Het is alweer even geleden dat ik een blog gemaakt heb. Dit kwam door de vele projecten die tussendoor kwamen en ik dus moest kiezen. Mijn excuus dus dat je wat langer moest wachten ;). Ik hervat niet meteen met een weekvlog, maar een unboxing video. Eindelijk heb ik het in mijn bezit: MacBook Pro! Dit stond al jaren op mijn wishlist, maar echt way tooooooooo expensive! Nu had ik wat gespaard en mede mogelijk gemaakt ook door het bloggen kon ik nu deze aankoop doen ;). Hi lovely reader, YAY, it’smy blog anniversary..it’s 1 year old now!! I hope you like my blog as much as i do. First it was Centurylifesyle.org and now just my name. I can’t believe i am blogging now for a year. To celebrate this fact, There will be three giveaway posts at my blog this week. Yeah 3, even wednesday. How was your weekend? Hi dearest reader, Have you ever heard about a Quinceañera?, well also called fiesta de quince años is the celebration of a girl’s fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America. I never been to a Quinceañera, so it was really an experience when i went to one. I’ve seen several episodes of my super sweet sixteen and this was kind a like. I really didn’t knew what i needed to wear to this big event, but i decided to choose te color red. I guess you can’t go wrong with red when it comes to Latin America. Ofcourse i found the perfect dress at ASOS. I wanted a descent, but girly dress and i found this gorgeous item. My 5 goals in life…..

Dearest reader… What are my personal and professional goals in life?, what an intriguing question isn’t it?. I was challenged by Kabbage.comto answer this question. Kabbage is a small business lones provider. It isn’t i never thought about this question, but i rather set goals for a week or a month. Anyway, i guess it’s all about to make them concrete. Here are my 5 goals (personal/professional) in life: 1. Be realistic and do only things that makes me happy. I’m done with the period i am always worrying about others and set my personal needs second place and pleasing everyone. It’s really complicated to change this mindset, but i am getting there. I am only responsible for my own happiness & health. Maybe it sounds surrealistic, but i will find my balance in life. 2. Be more outspoken (emotionally). The people around me know i love to talk, but when it comes to my feelings it’s a bit harder to speak out what i am feeling at the moment. Hi lovely! Happy girls are the prettiest, right? well i’m excited at the moment because my luck didn’t left me (yet). It isn’t a surprise for the people who know me i am a very lucky girl. First of all i am adopted and i see it as a chance to do something good with my life. The Sky is(n’t) the limit. Besides that i’ve been very thankful for all the opportunities that has crossed my path. I believe everything happens for a reason and you are the only person who is responsible for your actions. Luck is something you can’t predict, but sometimes you can push it in a certain direction. Many times i needed to ask myself, what i was doing wrong? I am working with wordpress now for almost a year and still i don’t know everything, especially the SEO side of it. However if you aren’t a pro in building your WordPress website, i can show you it isn’t really harsh to make it your own. First you need to ask yourself what you want to invest in your blog. It cost a lot of time and you’ll need to spend some money. I am hosting my website at versio.nl and bought a special WordPress pack. I’ve claimed now three domain names (centurylifestyle.org, esmeraldaattema.com & esmeraldaattema.nl).
