Hi lovely readers,
Roses are red, violets are blue, we are waiting for you!
Yay, my maternity leave is here.
I’m done with teaching for 2017,
i will get back to the classroom after the (Christmas) holidays.
It sounds for a long time,
but i am pretty sure time will flie
(like most of the vacays do).
For now a quick update how i am feeling and
what my plans are for these months.
It’s week 33 of the pregnancy.
I can’t deny i’m feeling tired and heavy,
i have gained almost 44pounds!
I know that isn’t really normal,
but my cravings are massive and of course
i am trying to do sports.
At the moment i am (still) participating the Zumba lessons
and since a couple of weeks i love to swim.
When i’m swimming i’m feeling more flexible and relaxing.
Till week 30 i felt like i could do everything,
but now she (and i) is growing very fast,
my body has a hard time to keep it all together ;).
Last Wednesday we had a 3D ultrasound,
how awesome!
We were curious how she would look like.
And now we have ‘seen her’,
we absolutely can’t wait to meet her.
All i can say for now (what we’ve seen)
She will be best of both worlds.
I will try to stimulate her senses
by listening to Latin music.
I won’t permit her to neglect her Latin roots.
She will be half Dutch half Colombian,
so just like i’ve said best of both worlds.
The following period we will try to find a balance in life
and we will try to give her some structure
and that she will feel safe.
I guess it will be the hardest task we ever will have,
being 24/7 responsible for a (little) human.
One thing we are absolutely sure about:
We are ready for you!
