My first beauty post (contouring and braids)

Hi lovely reader,

Friyay!!
Normally it’s time for an outfit post
and yes the jacket and jeans are new.
But this time i will show you something else.
Here it is: my first beauty post (contouring and braids).
In the “world of bloggers” you need to have a niche.
I consider myself more as a fashion minded styleblogger.
Not really concrete maybe,
but i like to show you more than outfits and the newest musthaves.
My blog is my platform where i can share
my thoughts and my way of life.
That’s why you will find a diversity of posts at my blog.
This time something totally different!
My bestie Kim is a hairdresser and
she likes to experiment with hair.
When we were younger she even cut off my bangs,
that wasn’t the plan.
It was a disaster and it didn’t look good.
But now she’s an educated hairdresser and (altough she’s my bestie)
she is definitely the best!
A week ago we did some shopping and i saw a budget contouring kit.
I always wanted to try this and maybe i could create the Kim Kardashian effect.
The only problem was: I DON’t KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MAKE-UP!!
Luckily Kim isn’t only a marvelous hairdresser, she also knows a lot of beauty as well.
That’s why she offered to do my hair and apply the contouring make-up.
I thought that would be a win-win situation.
I would have a fabulous new look by my friend.
Besides the contouring kit, i also bought a new foundation, blush and shimmer.
Everything was budget proof.

First she started with the contouring part,
after that she applied the foundation and shimmer.
It was very strange to see the lines at my face,
but she blended it very well with my foundation.
The shimmer was the finishing make-up touch.
And to complete the whole look she braided the “the Kylie braids“.

I love the look, it’s so refreshing and awesome.
What do you think of this?,
do i need to experiment more with beauty?
