Keeping up with Kendra

Dear readers, Keeping up with Kendra. Where were you? How are you doing? Why aren’t you blogging and vlogging anymore? What are your (future) plans? A couple of questions i’ve got these days. I tried to stay on track with Instagram, but that’s hard as well. Now i’m mom everything has changed, of course that isn’t a surprise now Kendra is 6,5 months old and i’m trying to cope with our “new” lifestyle. Blogging and vlogging aren’t my first priorities. I wanted to post a blog once in two weeks and vlogging once in a month, but honestly i didn’t had the energy and time to create content. Of course i’ve had different kind of ideas, but when i was thinking of create content for my blog i was already exhausted. Kendra was sleeping trough the night with 5 months and we were so glad she did. Yes DID, since a few weeks she’s having a cold and is very hungry in the middle of the night ( we think she’s teething). Hi lovely reader, Baby update: Our 20 weeks ultrasound! How are things going for you? It’s time for a baby update.. Last wednesday we had our 20 weeks check up. It’s a very special ultrasound appointment, because all the medical stats are going to be revealed of #ourlittlebabEJ Of course this is an absolutely thrilling check up. The only question we want to know, if she’s doing okay in there. We are aware of the fact it’s not a guarentee a child is mentally and fysically healthy. Besides my profession as a teacher i am a social worker as well. I’ve seen a lot of kids who didn’t had all the luck in the world. Of course these stats won’t say anything about the labor itself. A childbirth without complications is already a miracle. When we came at the midwife office, the first thing the assistant did was checking my bloodpressure. I have a very low bloodpressure and i fainted already in the past. This time my BP was at the same level as well. We needed to check my weight too and yes i’ve gained a couple of pounds ;)! The edgy Duomo shoot

Hi Fashionist(a)! Friyay i would say, but unfortunately i am still recovering. Here it is: the edgy Duomo shoot. Woah i wanted to take some pictures IN the Duomo so badly! I’ve seen several shoots in front of the Duomo, so i was determined to take pictures in this beautiful cathedral. Milan was wonderful and fashionable, but actually we haven’t shopped that much. We were tourists till the max! But more about this trip in general, next monday in my vlog :). For now the Duomo shoot, To enter the Duomo you absolutely need some patience. It took us 30 min. and 919? steps to get to the terrace. Luckily we are still young and flexible, so we took the stairs (and the cheapest way, hihi). The architecture is phenomenal and i really love the structure of each wall. To climb the Milan Duomo i was wearing a very comfy but fashionable outfit. The Trasher shirt which i bought for a few euro’s at Aliexpress and Asos tregging matched perfectly with my Mango leopard coat. I wore this coat in Paris last February as well. Hi dearest reader, When i was young i had a “thing” for logo’s, i am not sure where it comes from. I wanted a Diesel jeans, because i liked the logo at the pocket so much. But i needed to wait before i could fit one, i was really small and most jeans were too big. I can remember the first time my mother and i went to a jeans store to try a Diesel. I was soooo thrilled about it and yes two were perfect, it was a sale so i could choose two of them. After this experience i had even more an obsession for brands and other cool stuff. I’m not a saving kind of person, so i choose rather some H&M or Vero Moda. More for less ;). Nowadays i’m working my ass off ;), and in july i was thinking about to safe money for an it-bag. I’m still so happy with my Michael Kors bags, but a Louis Vuitton was still on my mind.
