Comfort zone

Hi dearest reader,

Some things you want so bad….is just one step outside your comfort zone.
This quote i’ve seen at Pinterest was a real eye-opener. If i needed to make choices in my life, i rather choose the familiar (or save) one.
There is no doubt it has to do with i’m such a controlfreak and always wants to know what’s about to happen.
Well, the same quote has crossed my mind several times and i asked myself… what is the worst thing what could happen? (yess masterclass reflection).
Since then everytime when i needed to make a choice i’ve realised in the end things aren’t always as bad as they seem, it’s about how bad you’ll see them.
So i decided to enter the exchange program at my work. If everything is according to plan… i’m going (for two weeks) to Kansas, United States of America in October. Kansas (also called the sunflower state) reminds me of the Wizards of Oz, maybe i’ll see Dorothy ;).

I’m very excited about this, but also a bit scared.. it’s a huge step outside my comfort zone!
In theory i’ll stay at my exchange partners house and leave everything (program) to her. In may 2015 she will stay at our place and vice versa.
She works for the Johnson County Community College in Kansas as a professor, just like i do.
For now it seems far far away, but october is just around the corner……… to be continued
