My top fashion source: Aliexpress

Hi fashion reader,

It’s almost a year ago i wrote a post about my favorite shopping sites.
And one of these sites was Aliexpress.
I guess you’ve seen a lot of their items at my blog of this big online marketplace.
It’s my top fashion source: Aliexpress.

Asian webshops are booming, first there were the mobile phone covers and now it’s less a shame to buy your clothes from far away.
Webshops like ‘Wish’ and ‘MiniInTheBox’ are very popular.
I swear by Aliexpress, i discovered this site a year ago and
since then i’m obsessed to find good deals.

The first negative comments were, it isn’t good quality and it looks cheap.
My answer to this is, the bigger musthave webshops in the Netherlands buy there stuff also at the huge Asian online market.
Only they sell it to the costumer for a more expensive price.
So why don’t buy it directly from the Asian seller ;).
That’s exactly what i’m doing at Aliexpress: finding those items for a good price.
Lately i saw an other advertisement for knock off bikini’s like Triangl.
They were selling them for €25, i’ve seen them for $10 (like €9,00 shipping included).

Waterfall coats? Aliexpress!
Scuba bikini? Aliexpress!

Ofcourse there is a downside of this way of shopping.
Ofcourse the quality isn’t that great, but you may not expect that either.
Besides that be sure you order the right size,
Asian sizes run smaller in general.
You’re not sure what the conditions are of the people who are making this clothing.
Otherwise you won’t be sure if stores like H&M and Zara are fairtrade or sustainable.

What do you need to know?
– Use a creditcard and the alieexpress app.
– Be sure you filter at the lowest price first ;), a lot of sellers selling the same product but for different prices.
– Search for ‘pieces’, some products you can’t buy for just one item.
– Check your shipping cost (my advice be alert of the free shipping ad).
– Always read the feedback of a seller,
it’s a good indication of the reliability of a seller
